It’s easy to Set-up the Humax FOXSAT HDR
This 500Gb digital TV recorder is easy to install, just connect the satellite feed and the system configures itself automatically requiring only the postcode to select the correct regional BBC and ITV channels.
Recording is simple and the Humax Foxsat unit has a 500Gb hard disk drive offering up to 300 hours worth of recording. The unit is equipped with twin tuners; allowing you to record two TV programmes broadcast at the same time or watch one and record another.
You can even play back a previous recording whilst recording two channels. It even proposes the choice of High Definition/Standard Definition for those broadcasts that are available in both.
The Humax FOXSAT HDR can pause live TV
Have you ever wanted to pause live TV whilst you make a cup of tea? Well the Humax FOXSAT HDR 500 lets you pause the programme you are watching, just like a DVD, whilst up to 2 hours of the programme is temporarily stored on the hard disk.
The Humax FOXSAT HDR 500 has a full colour high resolution Electronic Programme Guide (EPG), providing a full view of all of the programme information on all channels and allowing you to select which programmes to record. If the programme you select for recording is available on an HD channel, then the unit will prompt you to select which you prefer.
When you select a programme for recording using the Electronic Programming Guide, it will ask you if you want to record a single programme or the whole series and will recommend recording on an HD channel when available.
Access the BBC iPlayer
